When I bought this book, I never saw a review about the abrupt ending. Only glowing 5 star reviews. As I read the book I wanted to give it 4 stars.... until that mother fluffin ending! Yes, the 2nd book is out now and blowing up so I should be excited to read it but really I'm just irritated.Know what this book had a lot of? Anticipation. A metric butt load of it. And I went to read reviews of the next book and it looks like more of the same. Man, I do really love some relationship apprehension and excitement, but GET TOGETHER ALREADY!
There's only so many times I can hear why you can't be together. After everything we saw at the ending of this book- if we start out with Grace giving excuses of why she can't be with Shane then I think I'd rather have a swarm of bees fly out my butt than read more of that junk. Phew. Maybe I should try to calm down and think happy thoughts.
The reasons why you should read this book:
-It is gripping. There are the standard typos and wrong words and editor-missed boo boos, but they're easy to over look because the writing is good!
-Shane and Grace. Sure you guess the plot and secrets but you don't care because you want to read about these two. Watch them start a fire and burn with each other in their love. And even though I thought some of the dialogue was a little.... wooden? cheesy? immature? it still had some of the best delivered lines from a hottie you'd ever want to read!! Shane was yet another man-whore that had me swooning when he met his game-changer.
-The plot. It's got a paranormal background that's not too weird- just perfect enough to be different from other contemporary romances out there. Even if you don't like paranormal books, you'll probably like this one!
Reasons you should not buy this book:
-You don't own $1.5 to buy the next one.
Honestly, I can't decide if I'll buy the next one. I really don't think I can hear one more excuse as to why they can't be together. The spark they ignited in me to want to watch them grow turned into a fire when they teased me like they might work out, but then got doused by a figgin alaskan waterpark at the end.

Fall From Grace Mad World Book 1 edition by Christine Zolendz Paranormal Romance eBooks Reviews
Fall From Grace was a nice super fast read! Grace has spent her time looking for "the one" and so far, has been unable to find him. However, she does know that there is absolutely no way that Shane, in all his bad boy glory, could be "the one."
But, no matter how hard you try not to like him, Shane manages to get under your skin. You just cannot help but love him! Despite this, Grace goes out of her way to not like Shane or give into him. Which, is pretty entertaining and makes for some great dialogue.
The story includes some paranormal elements, and I am all for some supernatural stuff, but I think the story would have been great without this. I would have preferred the story without the Heaven and Angels plot. Take that out, and you get something similar to Jamie McGuire's Beautiful Disaster, but more mellowed out.
One thing that I really did not like was the ending. I was just in the middle of a scene, reading along, then turned to the next page only to find "the end." In the middle of a scene. What the heck? This wasn't a cliffhanger, but instead almost just like a page break. You know, but without the click here to read more link. Also, practically every guy that Grace came across threw themselves at her. I get it, she's pretty, but literally every guy did this.
Other than that, however, it was a nice read and I enjoyed the back and forth between Shane and Grace!
I just cannot recommend this book. None of the characters seemed more than two dimensional, and the way relationships are addressed is totally out of touch with reality. I could connect to Shane's pain and frustration but not to Grace's cold and cutting treatment of him. It hurt to read and was so far beyond belief it approached psychotic. I don't buy that Shane would keep coming back to a person who treated him with the utmost contempt, sarcasm, and cruelty. It was really offensive to read about Grace and her best buddy making nasty comments to other women whom they treated as inferior beings just because they were interested in the men Grace and Lea were pals with. That's just mean, and it bothered me. And the whole thing about our protagonist coming back to life in the body of Grace after a near-death experience early in Grace's life - well, okay, cool idea, but it was poorly constructed and just didn't make a whole lot of sense. It would have been a better and more believable story if the focus has been on building the main characters' relationship. And I got really annoyed when Grace kept accusing Shane of only wanting her for a "piece of ass" or "one night only." Over and over again - seriously? He saves her life and all she can do is keep insulting him? He is there for her and wanting to get to know her better time after time after time, and she just keeps up the resistance, but at a certain point, it goes beyond unbelievable into the realm of the truly ridiculous and frankly, extremely annoying and repetitive. It is grating to read and disappointing on many levels. Can't recommend this one at all.
