I like the Three Fates of Ryan Love. The beginning of the story immediately grabbed me and reeled me and even though the initial hook up is pretty quick between the leads it does take a step back and the story isn't just all smexy times. I really liked Ryan, he's a good guy hero at heart and I liked the leading lady too -she's an interesting mix of naive and not. There's a nice little touch up with previous pair Ryan's sister Roxy and her Reaper. There's also and unanswered questions about what makes the Love siblings so special and I really want to know what that is.

"The Three Fates of Ryan Love" is the second novel in the "Beyond" series and I absolutely loved it. Before I get to the review, I have to admit that I couldn't remember everything that took place in book one, "The Five Deaths of Roxanne Love." Thankfully the author filled in the gaps to refresh my memory. Book two is a well-written paranormal-romance novel full of suspense, action, and hot romance. The author doesn't hold back as "The Three Fates of Ryan Love" starts off with a bang storm that lights up the sky, and unfortunately, decimates so much in its wake. So engaging you couldn't help but read on wanting to know more. Talk about a rollercoaster ride as it got better and better as I read on. Two-thirds in and the story…wow! It really took off. The chemistry that Ryan and Sabelle shared was hot and full of passion. Ryan Love….ahhhhh, sexy, sexy, sexy. I just loved him. I love it when the readers are reintroduced to the protagonists from the earlier installments making them an integral part of the story. Lucky us, the author does just that as Roxanne and her Reaper join Ryan and Sabelle on their journey. One more thing. I’m sure I’m in the minority here; however, sorting thru the many lies and omissions of truth that were revealed with respect to Sabelle, it was a little unclear at times trying to piece together the truth as to why Sabelle really came to be with Ryan. Otherwise, this was a terrific read. If you’re a lover of the paranormal-romance genre, I highly recommend you read this series. Just be sure to start with book one. I look forward to reading the next installment, hopefully sooner rather than later.
I didn't read Erin Quinn's first novel (The Five Deaths of Roxanne Love)... but it didn't really effect my reading at all. I AM left wondering about Ryan's siblings (especially twins Roxanne and Reece)... but it didn't distract as much as make me immediately put the first book on my must read list (and find out that the 3rd book isn't coming out until 2016. ugh!). I'm sure it would add another depth to Ryan's story... but it didn't stop my enjoyment. I think it just left me a little in the dark... like Ryan. It sounds like Roxanne and Reece know all about the "Beyond"... and Ryan only know the little they've told him. I loved following Ryan through this story. His struggles with belief, and faith, and truth were all really thought provoking.

I loved figuring out Sabelle with Ryan. (And it's pronounced S'belle! Don't get it wrong!) She was such a mystery, it's no wonder Ryan couldn't resist figuring her out.

With Gods, and Sisters of Fate, seers, oracles, reapers, and demons... this novel nothing if not epic. The entire book is a roller coaster of action and suspense... mixed with moments of emotional calm and upheaval. I loved that you didn't know what was going to happen from one chapter to the next. A definite page turner.

This is another great story by Erin Quinn - I couldn't put it down and then read it twice! Waiting now for Ruby's story to finish the set.
I love this new series by Erin Quinn! The Five Deaths of Roxanne Love was fresh, alive, dark and sexy, and everything in between. This second book is every bit as good as the first.

Ryan Love, the oldest brother and the responsible one, has put his own dreams on hold to run the family bar - which he hates. Sabelle appears out of thin air, naked and shivering, and tells Ryan his life is in danger. She's there to save him - but she's as much a mystery as the explosion that destroys the family business. Ryan can tell when a person lies, but he can't quite make himself believe the fantastical things Sabelle tells him. She's a seer in the Beyond, a slave to the Three Fates. Ryan believes the Beyond houses nothing but evil - it stole his brother and sister from him, and he is unforgiving. As they learn to trust one another, we learn more about the Beyond and about these two wonderful main characters.

Erin Quinn writes beautifully complex, three-dimensional characters. No cardboard cutouts here! The characters are as unique as the story idea. This is a fantastic read. I can't wait for Ruby's story!
